Lakeshore Writers offers creative writing workshops, an outgrowth of Pat Schneider’s teachings (AWA) and Teresa’s own training and experience. The workshops are designed to motivate, inspire and support writers in all genres, from beginner to advanced. The goal of the workshops is to provide a structured environment for writing practice and the development of craft, to generate new material and to support the development and progress of each writer’s ongoing work. Small manuscript groups meet weekly to respond to each others work. The workshops allow each writer to receive useful, constructive responses to their work to with a goal to developing and completing works in progress.

Friday evening we kick off the festival with an opening event at the Firehouse Center for the Arts which is followed by Dinner with the Authors. Events begin on Saturday with Breakfast with the Poets and continue on throughout the day until the closing event in the Firehouse at 7:00.
